Public transportation fees raised
Charges for taxis, minibuses, taxi minibuses and service minibuses vehicles operating in Istanbul were raised.
According to the tariff rate regulated by the UKOME (Transportation Coordination Center) dated 24.08.2016 and numbered 2016 / 6-9; Taxi, minibus, taxi cab and service vehicles transportation rates between 5% and 9% were raised. Fees determined according to transportation types are shown in the following tables;

*A maximum of 35% Guide Personnel fee is added to the transportation fee of school service vehicles carrying pre-primary education, primary school and junior high school (first 4 + 4) students.
The fees determined by the UKOME decision are applicable to the transportation service between the school and the student residence of the school service vehicles serving at official and special education institutions. The standards included in the relevant legislation can not be associated with any such requests, such as trips made during the year, private individual accident insurances, fewer student seats, luxury class and high-model vehicles, special ambulance agreements and similar requests.
